Alejandro Rodríguez Iglesias

I am a PhD student at the Bioinformatics Group at the Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics in Technical University of Madrid.
I completed in 2011 the degree in Biology in University of Salamanca, Spain. I then moved to Madrid to study and obtain the Official Master in Biotechnology in Agroforesty, organized by the Department of Biotechnology of the Technical University of Madrid. The Master final project I presented is entitled: Role of plant urate in the virulence regulation of Dickeya dadantii 3937, and was directed by Dr. Emilia López Solanilla.
My research interests are focused mainly in the field of Plant Pathology (bacteria and fungi) and the Semantic Web, and during my PhD I am working in a project that unites both of these areas into one idea.
